A romantic love story between a Korean and a Filipino.

Kim is in her late 20s, a scion of one of the wealthiest Filipino families. When she graduates from school, her parents set up an office exclusively for her at home so she can work only from her house. She finds new friends while teaching English online and having escaped to Seoul, she enjoys her newfound freedom while becoming close to her Korean boss, Jayson, whom she has been teaching English.

Eventually, it is revealed that the businessman who snatched the deal from Jayson's father 25 years ago was Kim's father. Bitter feelings arose between Jayson and Kim, and she returns to the Philippines with her father.

Jayson sought Kim out and did everything to win her back. He proposes to Kim, but she declines, afraid to get caught between the conflict of their families. Kim's parents saw their daughter's agony. They decide to withdraw their shares in the company and turn them over to Jayson's family, as a sign of their apology for what happened many years back. Kim and Jason travel to Korea and they reconcile with each other and leave the bitter past behind.
